Daniel F. Sullivan

Daniel F. Sullivan, age 75, of Hebron, IN, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy, daughter; Susan Jim Woods of Schererville, son; Tim Lisa Sullivan of NC, grandchildren; Daniel & David Woods, Casey Sullivan, sister; Jeanne Robert Miller of Highland, brothers-in-law; Richard Patsy Peterson of Hebron, David Peterson of IL, and numerous nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Daniel & Edna Sullivan and grandson; Kyle Sullivan. Funeral prayers will be said on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 9:15 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main St., Hebron followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Helen Catholic Church, 302 N. Madison, Hebron with Fr. Derrick Dudash officiating, cremation to follow. Visitation will be held at the Geisen Funeral Home, Hebron on Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 2:00 to 6:00. A prayer service will be at 2:00 PM. Mr. Sullivan was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Hebron. He retired from Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad with 44 years service as a crew dispatcher. Daniel was a Navy veteran serving in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion in Schererville. He was also a member of the Navajo Saddle Club. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed riding his horse, Model, skeet and trap shooting, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved to travel.
