COLLIN J. LINDSAY, age 71 of Merrillville; formerly of Sauk Village, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

He is survived by his wife Debbie (nee Hayes) of 51 years; two daughters: Laurie (Drake) Lundin, Tiffany (late Scott) Conn; seven grandchildren: Jessica, Devin, Arie, Tye, Alex, Bryce, and Alaina; two brothers: Sam (Dennice) Lindsay, Bill (Jan) Lindsay; and his many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar & Mary “Rosie” Lindsay; brother Oscar A. Lindsay, Jr; son-in-law Scott Conn; and grandson Nathan Thomas Lundin.

Collin was graduate of West Vigo High School, Class of 1967 and a retired steelworker from Arcelor Mittal in Riverdale, IL with 49 years of service.  He was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country in the Vietnam War.  He was very proud of his service and enjoyed spending time with his fellow veterans. Collin was also a member of the Free & Accepted Masons, Lodge #765.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and spending time with his grandkids. 

Family and friends may gather at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 2:00-6:00 P.M.  Funeral services will follow at 6:00 P.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel followed by military funeral honors.
