Colleen K. Mooneyhan , age 51, died Saturday January 24, 2009 at 4:13 A.M. at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital after a lengthily illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 A.M. at the Carlisle Funeral Home, with Rev. John D. Hall officiating. The Family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. and Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service On Wednesday at the funeral home.
Colleen was born February 16, 1957 in Michigan City to Arnold and Betty Jean (Scott) Eisele. Both have preceded her in death. On July 14, 1984 she was united in marriage to Steven R. Mooneyhan in Michigan City.
Surviving is her husband Steve, Sons, Gregory and Jeffrey Mooneyhan both of Michigan City. Brother, Arnold (Lynn) Eisele of Sun City West Arizona. Nieces and Nephews Jessica, Steven, Sarah, Jennifer, James, Jacob, Kelli, John D. and John M., Brother in Laws, James Mooneyhan of LaPorte, Jerry (Beverly) Mooneyhan and John (Marjorie) Mooneyhan both of LaPorte; Sister in law Sharon (Bradley) Peters, of LaPorte. Very Special friend Rosie (Louis) Hansford of Valparaiso.
Colleen had been employed at Walgreen’s for over 25 years as a Bookkeeper and Cosmetician. Colleen loved to watch her sons play sports, She enjoyed listening to music and especially the music of Eric Clapton She always considered her co-workers at Walgreens as an extension of her family, and her family acknowledges all the love and support that was given to them by her “Walgreen Family” during Colleen’s courageous battle, and was an inspiration to everyone who she knew.
