Clarence was the sweetest and kindest man that I had the privilege of meeting. He would come into the thrift store I volunteered at always with a smile, a hug, and many times with a sandwich for me from Subway. He always asked about my family and I would love to hear stories about his. Working at the store won't be the same now without being able to see his smiling face. My prayers go out to your family.

I met Clarence in 1979. We both worked in the Dirksen Federal Bldg. He inspired me to attend law school. He we live on in my life. After Sunday service I was reminiscing with my spouse about people who influenced my life. She suggested I look on fb. My friend is gone but never ever forgotten ☝🏿🙏🏾
