Clara M. Crane

Clara Crane nee Shrum, age 95, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at home. Clara is survived by her husband of 72 years: Rev. John Crane, daughter; Dora Lee late William Morris; five grandchildren: Connie Kenneth VanWienen, Debbie Rich Hemphill, David Jr. Karla Crane, William Crane and Jerry Crane; 10 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Betty Rowland and Lola Albright. She was preceded in death by her son; David Keith Crane, daughter-in-law; Melody Crane, mother, father and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E 113th Ave. Crown Point, IN with Rev. Russell Hosey officiating. Interment will be at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point. Mrs. Crane was a member of Southlake Church of the Nazarene. Clara retired from the Anderson Company with 25 years of service. She enjoyed her church and family.
