CLAIRE GONDELL (nee Persic), age 86, a long-time resident of Gary, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018.
Survived by daughter, Carol (Michael) Shendrick; son, Michael Gondell; two grandsons, Michael and Nicholas Shendrick. Preceded in death by husband, Michael; son, John Gondell; brother, Frank Persic.
Claire was a long-time member of St. Joseph the Worker Church and was a graduate of Lew Wallace High School.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 6360 Broadway, Merrillville on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. from St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 330 E. 45th Ave., Gary with Rev. Kevin McCarthy officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery.
