Keith: Words can't express how my heart grieves for you and your loss. I love you brother. My life is richer having known Cindy in college and seeing you guys so many times over my last 16 years at industry gatherings. I'll never forgot spotting Cindy across the room in 1994 at Mr. Mehiel's reception in Paris. It was almost surreal seeing my freind from TU at a meeting amongst a bunch of box guys in Paris! I'm so glad we've had the chance to get to know each other and look forward to many more years of friendship. Cindy was precious to so many and her legacy will live on forever. I will continue to pray for you and your kids.

Dear Keith I would like to convey my deepest heart felt condolences to your family on their lost. You will not be far from my thoughts and prayers in the days that lay ahead. May God keep his arms around all those who grieve. I had the pleasure of spending time with Cindy while waiting for Olivia during her practices here at Midwest Training. I found Cindy to be a kind, warm and loving Mom and friend to all those that were lucky enough to know her. Your family will forever be in my prayers. Eileen Butcher Midwest Training and Ice Center

We are also sharing this with our staff and volunteers and I promise you that you will be lifted up to the Lord in the coming weeks, months, and even years. To the Umlauf family: Our son, Branden, played Little League with Austin & Graham and Keith was their Coach. That is where we met Cindy. We had no idea that she was even sick until one day at a game she told us. She was always smiling and acting as if nothing were wrong which is why we admired her strength and awesome personality. I'm sure that positive attitude she had and her strong faith in God is what kept her going. We are truly sorry for your loss and want you to know that even though we have not seen you in a while..we have thought about you both so often. Heaven has another perfect Angel.

I met Cindy during my first and her last year teaching at Kahler Middle School. We were on the same team of teachers and we both participated in a staff Lip Sync from Grease performed for the student body. I remember Cindy's extreme kindness to all, her wonderful spirit, her ready smile and her love of life. I know Cindy made a positive difference in all who were fortunate enough to know her. I knew Cindy at Kahler but one year, yet my memory of her has not diminished over a decade later. May God, friends and family comfort all at this time. With heartfelt sympathy, Ray Christensen

To Cindy's family: I am so very sorry for your loss. I've always told my girls that Cindy was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Kent & Margaret I know that you are so heartbroken - how do you say goodbye to a child? Andrea, Kent & Jason, I know you ache at the loss of a wonderful sister and friend. Keith and kids, although I never met you know that your wife and mother was a wonderful person here on earth and that she now is a wonderful angel in Heaven watching over you all. Find comfort in her memories. God bless you and keep you in this most difficult time.

Dear Keith, Austin, Olivia, Graham, and Family, As you know I got to know Cindy as we taught together at Kahler. She could quiet a classroom just by her unique entrance. The kids loved her and so did we! We continued to be friends over the years and I got to see you married and watch as the triplets grew. Halloweens were always special when you showed up at the door. Cindy and I always had a great time laughing together and we also enjoyed our deep talks about everything, including our special man. She was such a happy Christian example to all of us. I have and will miss our special chats. But I will always remember her with that wonderful laugh and hug who never dwelled on herself. Cindy and my Dad will now share their birthday, June 14, together in heaven. Know that you will be remembered as well. May you feel God's presence and always know that Cindy's spirit is with you.
