July 8, 1978 - December 5, 2009

Christopher Michael Reisinger, age 31, of Valparaiso, IN, formerly of Kouts, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2009. He is survived by his parents; Michael and Teresa Reisinger of Valparaiso, fiancee' Desiree Howard of Portage, IN; son, Garret Robert Reisinger; brothers, Matthew Reisinger of Valparaiso, IN and Nicholas Reisinger of Hobart, IN; grandparents, Robert and Patricia Reisinger and Robert and Sandy Aker; step-children, Shane, Shantel, Robbie, and Seth; granddaughter, Sienna and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main St., Hebron, IN. with Pastor Duane Schmidt officiating, cremation to follow. Visitation will be held at the Geisen Funeral Home, Hebron on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. Chris graduated from Kouts High School, was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kouts, worked at Hanson Logistics in Hobart, IN and had a passion for fishing and landscaping. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal shelter, a food pantry, Opportunity Enterprises or to Fountain View Nursing Home in Portage, IN. Mother Teresa and Mike, I am truly sorry for your loss and especially regretful that I am unable to attend the services due to weather conditions. My heart is with you during this difficult time. More often than not, Chris was smiling and laughing and making others laugh. At times mischevious in a good way!, Chris' spirit was unmatched. I wish I could share one more laugh with him...there is no doubt he will be missed by many.

Chris was one of the Greatest!! He used to come over to Grams House with Robbie and Jake and shoot pool. I'll miss you man!!

As i set wiping tears from my cheek. these thoughts come to me clearly of chris coming up to me every time he seen me. he would always ask how i was doing. i was lucky to get the chance to work and fish with chris. steph and i will miss him dearly.

I graduated from Kouts High School in 1995. Chris was always a very caring and friendly person. He always tried to make others smile. He will be truly missed here on Earth. My deepest sympathy to his family and close friends. RIP Chris.
