Cheryl L. Wiltfang nee Lovely age 54 of Portage, IN formerly of Hebron, IN passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009. She is survived by her Husband of 35 years Steve Mother: Carol Dirk Sandberg of Hebron Mother-in-law: Kathryn Wiltfang of Hebron 2 Sisters-in-law: Carolyn Wiltfang of Hebron Nancy Piper of Arizona 2 Nephews Uncle: Thomas Sue Moeller Preceded in death by her Father: Vernon Lovely brother: Ron Lovely Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 5:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home 624 N. Main St. Hebron, IN with Pastor Chris Shrum officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Geisen Funeral Home, Hebron from 2:00 to 5:00 PM Cheryl worked at Off Hours Clinic in Valparaiso. She was the Valedictorian of her graduating class at Boone Grove High School and graduated with her B.A. from Purdue North Central. Cheryl had a great love for animals. She was very talented at needle work and enjoyed making rag dolls. She was also a volunteer at Meals on Wheels. Cheryl & I went to Boone Grove High School together and were best friends in school. We dbl dated for the senior prom, had alot of laughs & did alot of silly things. We stayed in contact at Christmas off and on throughout the years but I lost contact with her a few years ago. I was actually trying to locate her online & finally decided to try locating Steve, who informed me of her passing. I am so sorry to hear this but I know she's probably still laughing in heaven at the silly things we all do..... My thoughts & prayers go out to her husband, Steve, and her family...

I worked with Cheryl, at Off Hours Medical. She always had a smile, and I would say something silly to her and she would always laugh. We had a lot of fun. She would always say it behooves me. She was a very kind and gentle soul, she always cared for others, and her pets. I remember when she was a patient at Porter a few years back when I was working there. I came to see her and still there was that smile on her face welcoming me to come and chat. She will be greatly missed. Tammy Rittel

I went to Boone Grove High School with Cheryl. She was one of my best friends in High School along with Rae Rogers. After we graduated I lost contact with her when she went to college and was married.Steve and Carol and the rest of her family I am sorry for your loss. Through the years I have thought about Cheryl and she meant so much to me and that's saying a lot about her because after graduating in 1973 for her to still have a strong impact in my memory you know how much I valued her friendship. We had a lot of fun together. I will miss her always.
