CHARLES R. LEWIS JR. age 58 of Crown Point passed away Saturday January 14 2006. Survived by 3 children: Michelle (Tim) Powers of Paoli IN Tracey (Jim) Phelps of Porter County Allen (Katie) Umfleet of Lowell 4 grandchildren 3 sisters: Amanda (Michael) Cannon of Carmel IN Claudia (late Michael) Stolfe of Terre Haute Janeen Lewis of Carmel IN. Preceded in death by parents Charles Lewis Sr. and Elaine Lewis Alsman. Charles was a life member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Crown Point. He was a member of South Suburban Community College Theater Group a 6th grade teacher and coached 5th grade basketball at Jane Ball Elementary School Cedar Lake a graduate of Crown Point High School and Purdue Calumet University. Friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service 811 East Franciscan Drive (on State Road 55 south of State Road 231) Crown Point Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday January 19 2006 DIRECTLY from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 250 S. Indiana Ave. Crown Point at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Mark Press officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. At rest Maplewood Memorial Cemetery Crown Point.
