Cecil Ray Batchelor, 75, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on February 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Princeton, Indiana on September 5, 1948.

Cecil was a loving husband to Sandra Batchelor, and a devoted father to Timothy (Julie) Batchelor, Michelle (Michael) Novak, Melissa (Scott) Schroeder, Angela (Kelly) Batchelor, Phillip (Jenni) Batchelor, and Adrian Williams. He also raised his granddaughters, Stephanie (Andrew) Daniel, Meadow Batchelor and Laura Batchelor. He was a cherished brother to Terry (Sharon) Batchelor, Karen (Gene) Herrman, and Carolyn (Gary) Hora.

He had twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Lucille Batchelor (nee Cypret).

Cecil had a successful career as a Radiologist. His dedication and expertise were highly regarded by his colleagues and patients alike. Outside of his work, Cecil had a passion for travel. Exploring new places and experiencing different cultures brought him great joy.

Cecil Ray Batchelor will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and guide us. May he rest in peace.

I remember getting black eyes arguing over covers when we were young, wrestling (and always losing), playing tricks on our foes, racing our cars (I won that), going on fun dates with our wives, so many family cookouts with family and friends…..but most of all I remember the Love that he had in his heart. Rest in peace papa. You have been my rock my entire life and have done everything in your power to support me in every way you could. My favorite memory will always be, how you took me to the daddy daughter dance and danced with me.
