To The Foreman and Laas Families: Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of a wonderful classy lady. Mrs Laas was my teacher at Knapp School approximately 36 years ago. She was strict and stern but kind and giving, a teacher that I will never forget. So I, too, want to "Thank a Teacher".

Mr. Foreman, Please have my deepest condolences, and those of my brothers and sister, at your loss. You were a close friend of our father's; and you are very much part of my best memories of youth in Michigan City. Please keep well and please keep your faith.
Ron & Nancy Shaner left a message on December 2, 2009:
Dear Sandy And Guy, I will always remember Cecil; her warm smile and affectionate hug. There were many years between "Mrs. Laas" and "Cecil" but I was so pleased that she remembered me and was so kind to me and my family when we would come back to MC to visit the church. "The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops yet it echoes on in sweet refrains...For every joy that passes something beautiful remains." A beautiful memory of Cecil will always remain in my heart. The Lord bless you and keep you in His arms.

Dear Mr. Foreman, Please know how sorry I am to learn of the passing of your wife. While I never met her, I heard very wonderful comments about her from our mutual musician friend Ralph Howes. Of course if she was married to you, she would have to be a very special lady. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Tom Dorman
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
