CATHY STABLEIN age 78 of Crown Point formerly of Lake Dale passed away Tuesday May 18 2010. Survived by husband Jim son James (Lindsay) Stablein of Chicago five grandchildren: Thomas (Laura) Stablein Michael (Laura) Madigan Rebecca Stablein Annie Madigan Edward Madigan four great grandchildren: Sydney Timothy Ava Denis brother George (Mary) Dicks of Chicago sister Joan (Robert) Meingasner of Chicago. Preceded in death by two sons Tommy and Timothy Stablein daughter Cindy Madigan. Cathy was a member of Youche Country Club and a graduate of Bowen High School Chicago. Friends may gather at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service 811 E. Franciscan Dr. Crown Point Saturday May 22 2010 from 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow promptly at 3:00 p.m. from Pruzin & Little Chapel.

I am a former classmate of Cindys at St. Francis Grammar School Eastside. My deepest sympanthies to you and your family.

Cathy Stablein was my Aunt. I have been getting to know her better in recent years and I am so sad that I will not be seeing her or spending time with her again. She was a special lady and her relationship with my Uncle Jim was sweet and fun and inspired my husband Tim and I to want to be like them. She will be sorely missed.

All the really good times weve all had togetherthe laughsthe get togethers at each others homes laughing with the guys as they played cards are unforgettable memories.Sixty some years of fun and sorrow with each other..... Aunt Cathy and I emailed back and forth since Ive been stationed overseas and I couldnt wait to receive emails from her and Uncle Jim. I then went to the family reunion last year which I havent been in over 6 yrs since the Marine Corps but we had talked and it was so great to see her and everyone. Lynn and I send our condolences.
