She is survived by her husband of 40 years Henry son Carl (Amy) Franklin of Munster daughter Dawn (Stan McKelvey) Franklin of MI granddaughter Kaylee. Preceded in death by parents Carl and Alice Bobka. Cathy was a former sales clerk from Michaels Craft Store Merrillville. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Thursday June 9 2011 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Bruce Haapalainen officiating. Services to conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
