Frank, we're so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. We know she's enjoying the fruits of a life well lived. Just knowing how happy she is now makes this temporary parting somewhat easier to bear. God bless.

Laura Wotring Chevalier left a message on November 1, 2011:
Aunt Catherine was bigger then life to me as a child. I always felt blessed to have her in my life. She never forgot her nieces and nephews and until I was well in to my adulthood, she sent a Christmas gift with a beautiful card she made from pictures she took of flowers. I've always loved that and looked forward to her cards. Maybe that is why I take my flower pictures...because she inspired me. She will be greatly missed but always in my heart...God bless my cousins, you are in my prayers.

I wish I had known Aunt Catherine better. I do have very fond memories of her fateful trip to California with Aunt Victoria. We were lucky they were there to help when my mom got sick. Like my cousin Laura, I looked forward to the McLaren picture Christmas cards every year, too! My love and thoughts are with all of you.
