CALIOPE YANKOVICH age 86 of Merrillville formerly of Glen Park passed away Sunday May 25 2008. Survived by son Michael (Joy) Yankovich of North Port Florida daughter Nikki (Stanley) Pytel of St. John 3 grandchildren: Mark Pytel of Marquette Michigan Abby Yankovich of Bloomington IN and Michelle (Tony) Meeter of Grand Rapids Michigan 3 great-grandchildren Sophia & Eva Bryant and Madeline Meeter 2 brothers: John (Helen) Raysses of Merrillville & George (Dee) Raysses of Highland sister Maria (late John) Sorich of California sister-in-law Caliope Raysses of Tarpon Springs Florida and many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by husband Nicholas and brother Nicholas Raysses. Mrs.Yankovich was a member of SS. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Caliope was a retired sales clerk from J.C. Penney Co & Lerners Department Stores a graduate of Emerson High School and a member of the Philoptochos Society.
