Bruce M. White

October 8, 1940 - August 1, 2009

Bruce M. White, age 68, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Donna, of 30 years, children, Teresa Daniel Beall, Jeffery Brianna White, Elizabeth Patz, Roger Patz and Martin Patz, grandchildren, Jeffery and Carli Beall, Remington and Orion White, Jerimiah and Mariah Patz, and Richard and Abigail Loudermilk, brothers, Stan Doreen White and Bob Marti White, sisters, Mary Chuck Brandner, Jessica Metros, Cecelia Fred Campbell, and Rita Bob Peterson. He is preceded in death by his father, Shirley White, mother, Anna Belle Sherer, step-father, Jesse Sherer and sister, Marilyn Pippin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Nursing Home Chapel, 203 Franciscan Dr., Crown Point, IN, with Fr. Myron Lowisz officiating. Interment at City of Crown Point Historic Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday directly at St. Anthony Nursing Home Chapel from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Mr. White was a member of St. Anthony Nursing Home Chapel and was retired from Pleasant View Dairy in Highland, IN with 35 years of service. Bruce was a University of Kentucky Wildcat basketball fan and enjoyed reading and sports history. Memorials may be given to St. Anthony Nursing Home Chapel. My deepest sympathy to Donna,Teresa,Jeff,Jessica,and Family.I have known Bruce since the middle 50's when we both lived in Hessville.I met him again in Crown Point through Little League and Babe Ruth League,and again when we became neighbors.What I liked about Bruce was, he let you know what he was thinking,he wasn't shy.He really loved his family,and was very blessed to have Donna by his side.I will miss him.

I WAS A FRIEND OF BRUCE AT HANOVER HIGH SCHOOL WHEN HE DELIVERED MILK THERE. WE HAD MANY DISCUSSIONS ABOUT THE WORLD PROBLEMS AND I ALWAYS ENJOYED THESE TIMES WHEN HE CAME TO OUR SCHOOL. I HAVE MET YOU A FEW TIMES. I WAS THE MANAGER OF THE CAFETERIA AFTER RUTH MAGER. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND BE WITH YOU DURING THIS TRYING TIME.
