Brandon Leroy Ormsby

Brandon Leroy Ormsby, age 44, of Michigan City passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at South Bend Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Sept. 8, 1979, in Michigan City, Indiana, to Duane Ormsby and Janet (Alan) Severance, who survive. Brandon graduated from Michigan City High School and attended Indiana University.

Also surviving are brother, Jonathan (Kirsten) Ormsby; uncles, Richard Schwarz and Louie (Mindy) Ormsby; aunts, Judy Swiger and Cathy (Scott) Daley; and cousins, Scott Ormsby, Kristina (Scott) Mallon, Angie (Ed) Davis, Diana (Keith) Barkow and Joshua (Courtney) Poehl.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy and Marion Ormsby, and Robert and Betty Schwarz; aunt, Deborah Ormsby, and uncle, Larry Swiger.

He will be greatly remembered for his love of music, motorcycles, his pets and how good of a friend he was.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Michiana Humane Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, located at 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN 46360.
