Bonnie L. Bosse (Matijevich), age 80, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, William T. Bosse; children: Rick (Brenda) Matijevich, Bob Matijevich, Karen (Matt Boger) Matijevich, Brad (Diana) Bosse, and Kelly (Rob) Cleveringa; grandchildren: Erik, Zack, Liam, Jacob, Allyson, Tyler, and Kyle; and brother, Joe (Joyce) Garcia.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her first husband, George J. Matijevich; parents: Bonifacio and Ventura Garcia; step-father, Manuel Alvarez; and brother, Emil (Sharon) Garcia.

Bonnie was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church. She retired from St. Anthony’s as the unit secretary in the Emergency Room in 2010. She was a member of Crown Point Tri Kappa and the “Good Time Bowlers”. Bonnie loved spending time with her family, friends, and her club girls. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her famous Spanish rice. Bonnie was an avid Cubs fan, baker, and traveler.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 25, 2024 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 101 w Burrell Dr., Crown Point, IN 46307. Interment to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Crown Point, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Bonnie’s name to the St. Matthias Bell Fund.
