BONNIE GAVE age 79 of Rensselaer formerly of Glen Park passed away Monday February 4 2008. Survived by three children: Judy (John) Stewart of Evergreen CO Jim Gave of IL Patti (Bruce) Tisdale of Marion IN foster child Susan Fernandez of CA 11 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren brother Jack (Rosemary) Harrington of Schaumburg IL niece Mary Lutz of IL. Preceded in death by husband Victor in 1998. Bonnie was a founding member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church Merrillville a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church Valparaiso and a retired housekeeper in the maternity ward of Porter Memorial Hospital with ten years of service. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Thursday February 7 2008 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Gember officiating. At rest Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Schererville.

Bonnie was one one the sweetest people Ive ever known. I worked with Bonnie in the NICU. I think of her often because she gave me a heart shaped dish for jewlery and I use it often. I also went to the sames church and use to love seeing Bonnie and Vic holding hands. My deepest sympathy goes to you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Bonnies death. I worked with Bonnie for many years at Porter Memorial Hosp. I was in the NICU. She was a wonderful lady and always working. When you needed her she was there. She worked with a smile on her face and I know she will be missed.
