Bob Gravelle

BOB GRAVELLE age 84 of Hobart passed away Wednesday May 30 2012. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Betty (nee Beres) two sons: Jeff (Suzanne) Gravelle of Indianapolis Thomas (Janice) Gravelle of Austin MN five grandchildren: Katie and Carol Gravelle 1st Lt. Marine Corps Michael (Alissa) Daniel and Grace Gravelle. Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Marie sister Phyllis Gravelle brother John JackGravelle. Bob was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Horace Mann High School Class of 1945 and served with the Marine Corps during World War II. Bob was retired from U.S. Steel with 40 years of service. He was an avid White Sox fan all his life. Private services were held for the family and he was laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville. Memorials in Bobs name may be made to SS.
