BEULAH MAXINE LINDBERG Beulah Lindberg, age 83, of Lake Station, IN, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at St. Anthony Hospice in Crown Point, IN. She is survived by 4 children: Donna Hammond Kvachkoff, Noble Hammond Jr., Carol Gene Schwartz and Lynda Roger Maxey, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Noble Hammond Sr. and Donald Cheesy Lindberg, her beloved special needs daughter, Donnelle Lindberg, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, with Marlene Hoopingarner officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Visitation will be held at Geisen Funeral Home, on Sunday, April 19, 2009 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Mrs. Lindberg was retired from Arthur Weiner Pant Factory. She was a member of the American Legion Post 100 Auxiliary serving as president for 7 years. She was also an avid bingo player and passionate about sewing vivid, colorful clothing for herself. Beulah was a 3 year CA and Laryngectomy survivor and passed away from lung cancer.
