BETTY JANE LORENZ, age 88 of Crown Point; formerly of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013. She is survived by 4 Children: Sandra (Carl) Sapper of Crown Point, Dennis (Lynn) Lorenz of Lowell, Karen (Randy) Tokarz of Lowell, Mary Ellen (Gary) Brown of FL, 8 Grandchildren; Scott (Becky) Sapper of WI, Todd (Melanie) Sapper of Crown Point, Gina (Kenny) Wright of NC, Angela (Ben) Anderson of GA, Robert Byrd of Lowell, Wendy (Patrick) Leeming of Crown Point, Danielle Frederici of FL, Gary (McKenzie) Brown of TX; 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband: Harold; parents: Fred and Ethel Weaver. Betty was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Thornton Fractional High School, Class of 1943. She then received her nursing degree and served as a R.N. for 50 years. Betty loved to play the organ and loved to read.
