She is survived by three children: Robert (Mary Jo) Moore, Dr. Thomas Moore, and Kathleen Moore; brother, Robert (Ruth) Reppert. Preceded in death by husband, Thomas M. Moore.
Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church, Crown Point. She was a graduate of Thornton High School. She grew up in Ivanhoe, Illinois.

Franciscan Dr. (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55) Crown Point on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Pruzin & Little Chapel with Rev. Mark Wilkins officiating. At rest, Maplewood Memorial Cemetery. Memorials preferred to First United Methodist Church or the Humane Society.
