Betty A. Gustas

Betty A. Gustas nee Fowble, age 79 of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Wittenberg Lutheran Village in Crown Point, IN. She is survived by her daughter, Cyndy Jeffers of Crown Point; 2 sons: Robert Letitia Gustas of St. John, IN and Steve Gustas of Crown Point; 3 grandchildren: Daniel, Adam & Stephanie Gustas all of St. John, IN; and special friend of the family, Sheri Laney of Crown Point. Betty is preceded in death by her daughters: Sandy Henry and Linda Gustas. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 6:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre, NOTE: NEW LOCATION ? 2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN with Chaplain Bob Rawlins, MDIV, MAR officiating. Interment will be private at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Betty retired from Lake County Association for the Retarded with 20 years of service as the workshop manager. She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, knitting, playing bingo and gardening. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty?s name to the Alzheimer?s Association.
