Bessie Naglosky (nee Kougoufas), age 94, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Bessie is survived by her son, William (Virginia) Naglosky; granddaughter, Anna (Kyle Wrobleski) Naglosky; sister-in-law, Joan Kayes; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, William Naglosky; parents: Kosmas and Anna Kougoufas; brothers: Thomas Kayes, Kosmas Kayes; and sister, Peggie Terzes.

Bessie worked at U.S. Steel, a jewelry store, as a stay at home mother, and the employment office. She was a longtime member of Philoptochos and was a devoted member of SS. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Bessie loved baking Greek pastries and Koulouria, a favorite of the family.
Bessie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
May her memory be eternal.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at SS. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 8000 Madison Street, Merrillville, IN 46410 from 10:30 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Fr. Ted Poteres officiating.

Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Bessie’s name to SS. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
