BERNICE M. TEMPLETON (nee OSIKA) age 96 of Crown Point formerly of Merrillville passed away Saturday May 14 2011. Survived by daughter Donna (Wayne) Strong of Lowell son Gary (Karen) Templeton of DeMotte 10 grandchildren: Marc (Laurie) Strong of CA Dian (Ron) Simpson of Hebron Lori (Jack) Olson of St. John Eric Strong of Indianapolis Katie Templeton of WI Zachary Templeton of DeMotte Don Pluto Kathy Pluto Cindy (Steve) Stahl all of Hobart Vicki Estonovich of TX 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son Donald Pluto parents John & Victoria Osika and seven brothers and sisters. Mrs. Templeton was a member of Divine Providence Polish National Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Horace Mann High School and a former employee at the Sheet & Tin Mill U.S. Steel Piatak Meats in Merrillville and A.J. Wood Telemarketing. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway Merrillville) on Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 18 2011 at 9:30 A.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 A.M. from Divine Providence Polish National Catholic Church (269 W. 57th Ave. Merrillville) with Rev. Edward Meus officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the church.
