Bernice M. Heick nee Riley, age 92, of Winfield, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point, IN. She is survived by 2 sons, William Heick of Leroy, IN and Lyle Pamela S. Heick of Crown Point, IN, grandchildren, Jerry Amy Heick, Melisa Scott Mitchell and Angela Keith Owensby, great-grandchildren, Nolan and Nathan and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, William, 2 daughters, Marilyn and LuAnn, 1 sister, Lois Wesbey, 1 brother, Cecil Riley and daughter-in-law, Pamela J. Heick. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre, NOTE: NEW LOCATION at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN. Interment at Salem Cemetery in Hebron, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Mrs. Heick was a die-hard Cubs fan, loved baseball , enjoyed her Bunko group and enjoyed playing cards. Memorials may be given to St. Anthony Hospice in Crown Point, IN.
