No words can adequately express the sorrow we feel in Grandpa Bens passing. Our family loved him dearly and will truly miss him. We have so many wonderful memories as we were made to feel a part of the family. He was a wonderful caring person who created and left a long-lasting legacy to his children and grandchildren through his foresight with the family business. Our thoughts and prayers are with Elsie and the family.

Dear Uncle Ben: For me you were always an easy guy to find. You were a great Uncle to me but most of all you were easy to find. I liked that. I have been thinking of you quite a bit in the last few days. While my thoughts wandered around significant moments in your life and mine I came to realize you were very easy for me to find. When I came to your house you were cooking some delightful Italian dish in the kitchen downstairs and serving me pasta and eggplant. We would talkI valued and trusted your Lazzaro perspective. I respected you because your love of family was clear and intense. You were there for me I could find youand rely on you. You taught me to place the family first above everything. I will always remember the dedication you had for your family. You showed this in your gathering of your family on holidays and Sundays and spending hours with Aunt El in planning preparing and cooking meals from the Old Country. My children recognized this as well from an early age and are better people because of your example. They learned from you and love you now immensely. I hope it is possible for me to earn a place in heaven some day. I know where you will bein one of Heavens kitchensI am sure. I know this because you were always an easy guy to find. I will never forget you. Love Skip
