BEATRICE DEEA. GRAPER (nee Cook) age 79 of Spring Texas formerly of Crown Point Merrillville & Hobart passed away Friday May 5 2006. Survived by husband Richard DickGraper with whom she just celebrated her 60th Wedding Anniversary after marrying on April 3 1946 2 children: Cynthia Graper-Niceley of Conroe Texas and Bill Graper of Spring Texas 7 grandchildren: Jennifer Dill of Frisco TX David (Jaime) Dill of Burlington WI Sara Elizabeth Dill of Miami FL Renee Graper of LaPorte Bill Graper of Valparaiso Traci Graper of Houston TX and Dustin Graper of Spring TX 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews 4 sisters: Dorothy Wood of Indianapolis Gladys Spencer of Hobart Clarice Hackenson of Portage and Donna Doffin of Crown Point and 3 brothers: Bob Cook of Sun City AZ Henry Cook of Cedar Lake and Walter Cook of Merrillville. Preceded in death by parents Walter & Violet Cook daughter Sheila Lynn Graper sister Margaret Banser brother Ronald Cook and infant grandson Michael Dill. Mrs. Graper was very active in St. Stephens & St. Christophers Episcopal Churchs where she belonged to church & community choirs. She was active in civic organizations and a member of the Arthritis Foundation and served as a water therapy instructor. She was also a Girl Scout Troop leader for several years.
