Barbara L. Bonick (nee Sandusky), age 76, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024. Her final moments were spent peacefully surrounded by family.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 54 years, John R. Bonick, Jr.; sons: John (Emily) Bonick and James (Donna) Bonick; granddaughter, Caroline Bonick; step-grandchildren: Alexis Feinstein, Henry Frazier and Jackson Frazier; sisters: Sandra (late Andrew) Shrader and Judith Sliwinski.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents: Stanley F. and Violet L. Sandusky; and in-laws: John R., Sr. and Josephine A. Bonick.

A 1965 graduate of Horace Mann High School in Gary, Indiana, Barbara was the proud owner of Geppetto’s Toys & Togs for 37 years. She had a green thumb and was known for her love of her flower garden. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 4:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00 PM.
