Barbara Jo Smith (nee Grunden), age 67, of Crown Point, IN, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Barbara is survived by her husband: Stan of 46 years; children: Christina (Brett) Schreiber, Joe (Jessica) Smith and Ann Butler; 3 grandchildren: Daniel, Justin and Kara; and brother: Jeff (Billie) Grunden. Barbara retired from Centier Bank with over 15 years of service. She was an avid gardener, a collector of all things pretty and loved her cats and rabbits. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave./South St., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN at 10:00 AM with Pastor Tom Shanahan officiating.
