Barbara Ann Slupczynski nee Ally age 70 of Crown Point, IN Lake of the Four Seasons passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, IN. Loving wife of George for 43 years Wonderful mother to two daughters Lyla Glenn Gross of Crown Point Michelle, Ray Evert of Hebron 1 Grandson: Kyle Kostro Grand Dog: Sammie Gross 1 Brother: Michael Susan Ally of Lockport, IL Many nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral, Creamation & Reception Centre, Crown Point, IN with Pastor Mike Farar officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: New Location at 606 E. 113th Ave. Crown Point 2 Blocks E. of Broadway from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Barbara was a former secretary to the Wrigley Family in Chicago as well as for a large advertising firm and Radio Station. She was voted one of Chicago�s top Secretaries in her day. After raising her children, she continued in management at Charles A. Stevens Clothing and most recently retired from Kohls. She became a volunteer at Chicago Land Christian Village managing the gift shop. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and the Lake of the Four Seasons Home and Garden Club. Barbara was an active attendee at the Town & Christian Church in Crown Point. She had a great love for shopping and making sure you had a gift on any special occasion. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend to many. She will be greatly missed. Memorials may be given to the Town & Country Church or VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, IN.
