Barbara A. Baugher, age 79, of Michigan City, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 St. Anthony Memorial Health Care, Michigan City.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home with her nephew Rev. John F. Dickerhoff III officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and again from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. Cremation will occur after the services. Mrs. Baugher was born January 6, 1930 in Michigan City, IN to George and Ada (Beardsley) Morse,both of whom preceded her in death. She married Morton E. Baugher Sr. on September 27, 1952 in Michigan City. Mr. Baugher survives in Michigan City.

Also surviving are her children Pamela Bross, Morton E (Christine) Baugher Jr., and Brenda (Tony Wallace) Baugher, all of Michigan City. Grandchildren: Stephen (Kristan) Hahn Jr., Pamela Hahn, Keri Bross, Justin Bross, Sharon Garwick, Jeffrey (Meredith) Dawson. Great Grandchildren: Ariel, Eva, Austin, Chaz, Ryan Jr., Aurora, Ezra, Scott, Shelby, Tyler, Alexis, Hannah, Mylee, a sister-in-law Katie Morse. And also her beloved cat Taloose. She was preceded in death by her son David Allen Baugher. Her brothers, Timothy, Howard and Bud Morse. And her sisters Arletta Bolka, Iona Rozinski, and Belva Dickerhoff.

Barbara was an avid gardener taking pride with her irises. She loved to crochet gifts for her family, and caring for them. She was a loyal and dedicated Cubs fan.
