B. JAMES SOLON age 81 of Crown Point formerly of Calumet Township passed away Saturday March 21 2009 He is survived by two daughters: Pamela Solon of Illinois Polly (Dwayne) Bulla of DeMotte two sons: Jim (Mary Kay) Solon of Fort Wayne Jerry Solon of Carmel Indiana eight grandchildren: Rachel (Jake) Smith Andrew (Megan) Bulla Neal (fiance Raven Ryan) Solon Megan and Tim Solon Greg (fiance Thao Lee) Solon Bret and Brandon Solon great grandchildren: Wrigley and Addison Smith sister: Lovell (Late Myron) Lee of DeMotte brother Robert (Carol) Solon of Hammond. Preceded in death by wife Marian Joparents Joseph and Edna Solon. Mr. Solon was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Highland. He was a loss control representative for Allstate Insurance Co. and a graduate of Hammond High School. Luther Drive Crown Point. At rest Maplewood Memorial Cemetery Crown Point. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Pastoral Care Fund in c/o Redeemer Lutheran Church.
