Arnold W. Fetsch, age 88, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point, IN. He is survived by his wife, Jean of 34 years, daughters, Rita Sparks and Sue Fetsch, step-sons, Steven Snow, Stewart Connie Snow, and Shawn Elizabeth Snow, step-daughter, Sandy Larry Boyd, 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by 1st wife, Anne and daughter, Mary Ann. Funeral Prayers will be said on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 9:15 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, IN, with Fr. Pat Kalich officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Crown Point, IN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Mr. Fetsch was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Crown Point, IN. He was a World War II Army Veteran, a life member of the American Legion Fred Schmidt Post #20 in Crown Point, IN, a member of the National Chapter of AARP as well as the local chapter, he was retired from U.S. Steel with 45 years of service and was an avid baseball fan who loved the Chicago Cubs.
