Arlene Petruch

ARLENE PETRUCH (nee REITHEL) age 80 of Merrillville passed away Thursday March 4 2010. Survived by one daughter Jolene one son Joseph P. Jr. (Linda) two granddaughters Amy and Pauline her beloved grand-dogs Lady LuLu and Joey sister Maryann (Art) Piunti brothers-in-law: Harold Haberlin Frank (Joanne) Petruch sisters-in-law: Nona Reithel Ann Brantner Jan Petruch. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph P. Petruch father and mother Wilbur and Ruby Reithel sister Joyce Haberlin brothers: William and Norman Reithel. Arlene was born July 30 1929. She was a graduate of Froebel High School Class of 1948 and was retired from ANCO/Cooper with 25 years of service. She was the 7th Ward Councilperson of Merrillville in 1998 and 1999. Arlene will be missed for her love of animals and her flowers. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Friday March 5 2010 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday March 6 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Joseph Vamos officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to FOPA Lodge 168 Body Armour Campaign Fund.
