Anita Paige Wichowsky

Anita Paige Wichowsky age 77 of Crown Point, IN passed away on Monday, October 12, 2009 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL. She is survived by 4 Children: Lisa Greg Kassner of Kennesaw, Georgia Richard Wichowsky, Philip Christena Wichowsky, David Wichowsky all of Crown Point Grandchildren: Erik Kassner and Cassidy & Callan Wichowsky 1 Sister: Bonnie Landon of Germantown, TN Preceded in death by her Husband: Lee Parents: Eva and Ernest Ratcliff 2 Brothers: Joe and John Ratcliff Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, Crown Point with John P. Starr officiating. Interment will be at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN Friends may visit with the family on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E. 113th Ave. Crown Point, IN from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Mrs. Wichowsky was a graduate of Memphis State University. She was a Speech and Theater Major and a member of the Debate Team. After graduating she worked for the Gary Community School System as a Speech Therapist. Paige worked for the U.S. Government Special Services division in Augsburgh, Germany, where she met the love of her life, Lee, whom she married in 1959. She returned to Elmhurst, IL and taught 6th grade Elementary School. Paige enjoyed traveling, gardening, antiques and her pets. In Paige's name memorials may be given to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
