Andrew Sabau, age 84, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2010 at Colonial Nursing Home in Crown Point, IN. He is survived by his wife: Annabelle. A Masonic Service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre, NOTE: NEW LOCATION-2 blocks east of Broadway at 606 E 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, February 1, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN. Mr. Sabau worked at the Post-Tribune for over 34 years and for the Lake County Star for 6 years. Andrew was a member of Lake Lodge #157 Crown Point Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend and a member of the Orak Shrine. Memorial donations may be given to Shriners Children's Hospital. Annabelle - my condolences on your loss. I worked with Andy for many years at the Post-Tribune. He was the guy to see to get things done. Sometimes he would get upset with our dept probably rightfully so, but he would always work with us to get the job done for the customer. He was a professional.
