Alfred Pena, Sr., age 92, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Roseland, IL, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.

Alfred is survived by his four children: Donald, Pena, Peggy (Anthony) Nemcek, Dennis Pena and Al Pena, Jr.; and many grandchildren.

Alfred was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah and son, David.

Alfred was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Crown Point and formerly a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Roseland, IL. He retired from Sherwin-Williams, where he worked as a order picker for 43 years. Alfred proudly served in the US Army.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 9:30 AM until the time of Funeral Prayers at 10:15 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, IN 46307 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Pat Kalich officiating. Due to COVID-19, face masks are required at both the funeral home and the church. Services will conclude at the church with cremation to follow.
