Albina R. Sabalaskey

Albina R. Sabalaskey nee Kobe, age 79, of Hebron, IN, formerly of East Chicago, IN, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2009. She is survived by her son, Bruce J. Sabalaskey of Canada, daughter, Sandra John Corak of Hebron, IN, 6 grandchildren, Jenny, Missy and Christopher Corak of Hebron, IN, Sarah Nathan Koelln, Steven and Brian Sabalaskey of Minnesota, brother, Peter Kobe, sisters, Bette DeNardo, Bertha DeLuca, Helen Smith, and Angeline Jakov. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce R. Sabalaskey and infant son. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 808 W. 150th, East Chicago, IN, with Fr. John Siekierski officiating. Interment at St. John and St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond, IN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN, from 4:00 to 9:00 PM.
