Aimee C. Wuerzburger DiCarlo passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 21st at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, Pennsylvania. Aimee fought a courageous fight against a very aggressive form of breast cancer which, in the end had moved through out her body. Aimee lived through all of the pain and procedures this last six years to try to be here for her two children and for her husband.
Services will be held Saturday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Church, with Rev. Sellvaraj Selladuraj. Visitation will be Friday, July 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City next to her brother John and her mother Janet.
Aimee graduated from Rogers High School and Ball State University School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse in Michigan City and Indianapolis for twenty years. In her work and in everything in her life Aimee thought of others first and loved her many friends and family very very much. Aimee is survived by her two children Gianfranco DiCarlo III and Gina DiCarlo, husband Gianfranco DiCarlo Jr., father Harold “Gene” Wuerzburger, stepmother Bobbie Reid, her sister Gay Lynn Wuerzburger, and brother Hoyt Wuerzburger.
