Jim was a longtime Pruzin staff member, having been lifelong friends with Tom Pruzin. As a young boy, Jim would assist with funeral at the old Tolleston Funeral Home, where Mr. Pruzin would have him help with miscellaneous jobs around the funeral home. Jim was mentored throughout the years by Tom’s father, John A. Pruzin.

Jim is a graduate of Andrean High School. He and his wife Sharon and son Jon reside in Merrillville. He is a member of Protection of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church and enjoys singing in the church choir. He also belongs to the Silver Bell Club, P.N.A. #2365, is a 4^th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #13003, and can be seen hacking away at the local golf courses.
