Sandy and family So sorry to hear of Warren's passing. I and Warren were first cousins and i am from Jamestown, North Dakota. I remember our families getting together often just to visit and us kids riding downstairs on pillows at his folks' house in Litchville, ND. I also remember one time having a picnic in the snow eating spring chicken. Warren was a one of a kind guy and wish we could of gotten together more later in life. He can now be with his family in heaven, RIP.

Warren - My best friend. Warren and I struck up our BEST FREINDS relationship when we met as 7th Graders at Litchville, North Dakota. Warren was a standout in school that year with his outgoing personality and likeable nature. We shared so many good times in that Little town in North Dakota. All through high school Warren was the most dear friend as he was with everyone he met. We played basketball on the Midget team in Jr. High. I recall a game where Warren and I had cooked up a strategy. Warren would stay on our scoring end, I would run down the court, get the rebound and throw the ball the length of the court for Warren standing waiting. He would score numerous times. Such Fun. Warren's family asked me to join on their trip to the east coast to visit his sister Avis. Stan, Warren and I all fitting in the back seat of a 55 Chevy. Visiting NY was my first exposure to the real world. So many experiences growing up. They one by one have been coming to mind over time but now since Monday when Stan called to say Warren had passed away. Always a man of humor. Never did Warren see himself above any one else. I cannot imagine the number of people who called him FRIEND over the years he worked or family life. I asked Warren one time how he met Sandy? I stopped at a stop sign and next to me a driver Sandy. We looked at each other. From that point on the rest is history. 57 years married to Sandy that sounds like (Love of Your Life?). Need to conclude this writing but one more precious moment from teenage years. In high school Warren mentioned a girl from the nearby town of Hastings. I weeks later got to meet Paulette Peterson. We eventually married and lived and loved 33 years together before she passed away with breast cancer. Thank You Warren for all you and your family did for me. I especially now for years have admired the brother to brother relationship and love you and brother Stan have had for each other. So many fun times, so many health issues. You stuck together, supported each other. True brothers you were. Warren, everyone that got to know you over the years will miss you dearly. God Bless you and someday we will meet again together with loved ones and the Lord. Best friends always. Wes Andrud
