Virginia M. Horn

VIRGINIA MARY (nee BAKER) HORN age 94 of Noblesville formerly Crown Point passed away peacefully at her home Sunday January 18 2009. She was born July 3 1914 in the old Homestead Houseon Court Street in Crown Point to Harry and Evelyn Baker. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Joseph K. Horn two daughters Janna (Frank) Rhode and Linda (Mike) Hinkle both of Noblesville IN four grandchildren: Timothy (Rebecca) Rhode of VA Anthony (Karina) Rhode of Noblesville IN Joshua (Allison) Gumbert of OH Rachel (Nick) Shotts of Noblesville four great-grandchildren: Andrew Olivia Caden and Brody. Virginia was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Crown Point. She was a member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority. She was a graduate of Crown Point High School Class of 1932 and for over 50 years served as a bookkeeper for Gruel Bros. Inc. Virginia enjoyed playing bridge and was a longtime Cub fan. She was a devoted mother grandmother and great-grandmother who deeply loved her family and she will be greatly missed.
