VIOLET DAEGE age 93 of Valparaiso formerly of Hobart passed away Monday January 16 2012. She was born on May 4 1918 in Attica Indiana to Florence (nee Hargraves) Sutton-Warren and Willard Jack Sutton. She is survived by her two daughters: Janet (Julius Jay) Kantroski and Sandra (Joseph) Walla both of Valparaiso three grandchildren: Franklin (Kristin Modrowski) Kantroski Andrew Kantroski Michelle Walla one great-granddaughter Mila Kantroski all of Valparaiso sisters and brothers-in-law: Dorothy Daege of Indianapolis Sandra Doege of FL Elmer (Ruth) Doege of NV Charles League of Ft. Wayne numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Franklin of 49 years sister Eileen (Louise) League brother Willard Sutton. Violet was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Hobart. She belonged to the Sentry Club at church the Banta Center in Valparaiso and the Merrillville Womens Club. Violet was a homemaker who enjoyed being with her family and traveling. Special thanks to Myrna and the special staff at Gabeson Homes now Moses Caregivers and the nurses from the VNA Hospice. Funeral service will be Friday January 20 2012 at 12:00 Noon DIRECTLY from Trinity Lutheran Church 900 Luther Dr. Hobart IN with Rev. Gary Nagy officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the start of services at the church. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville. Arrangements by Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service Merrillville.
