Tim was my best friend for many years. I'm not quite sure when we met, but it was likely around when we were 8 years old. Most of our days of hanging out were in junior high, high school, and after, and usually in the cities of Crown Point, IN., Gary, IN., and Chicago, IL. where we experienced life together. I want people who are grieving to know that Tim Mager had his priorities in order before he went to be with the risen Christ. My evidence for that is that he kindly came to visit me at my home in the Denver, Colorado area on February 20, 2021 (less than 2 months before his death on April 9, 2021) and we talked about the things of the Lord. Before he left we stood side by side in my living room and bowed our heads in prayer, all while being in agreement in the name of Jesus Christ. A few weeks or days after he left my home he had bought a Bible at our friend Chris Dorin's store and then he sent me a picture in a text message or email of the Bible along with some other books he was going to read. Through our conversations, etc. I can testify that Tim had a hard knock life, but he made it, and in the end he found true wisdom. I could have went on and on, but I have a reason to keep this brief. Thank you for reading and for having T Mags in your thoughts, -Ryan (Milner) October 19, 2021

We're so sorry to hear of Tim's sudden passing. Jason was a coworker of "Mager's" (as he referred to him) for 10 years. They often roomed together at the job sites and had become good friends. We will miss Mager's random texts to Jason that made us both laugh and his poker tips :) Tim, we hope you're resting peacefully in Heaven.
