Thomas J. Worley, age 87, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Northwestern Health.

Thomas is survived by his children: Ann (Tom) Hawkins of Portage, Thomas Worley of Hebron, Robert (Rebecca) Worley of Cedar Lake, Lawrence (Brenda) Worley of Hebron, Lynda (Dale) Irvine of Hebron and Cathy Worley of Valparaiso; son-in-law, Evan Llewellyn of Crown Point; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Mable Worley; and daughter, Julie Llewellyn.

Thomas worked as a teamster and belonged to local #737 and 734. He was a Navy veteran. Thomas was an avid Bears and Notre Dame fan and enjoyed boating. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 2:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 pm with Pastor Tom Shanahan officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Thomas’ name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
