Thomas M. Hackett, age 65, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020.
He is survived by his partner Monica Miller; children: Michael Hackett (Emma), Christopher Hackett, Heather Hackett, Jessica Dang and Zachary Miller; grandchildren: Gabriel, Nicolos, Ruby, Olivia, Grayson and Avery; sister: Sharon Richee.
Preceded in death by parents: John and Janice Hackett; sister: Katherine Hackett.
Thomas worked for Arcelor Mittal (Inland Steel) for 36 ½ years. He was a National Rifle Association member, and he enjoyed NASCAR, billiards and sports (especially Chicago teams – all of them except the Cubs).
A private cremation was held at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Recpetion Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN.
