Steven A. Fistel, age 80 of Michigan City, IN, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

Steven was born on March 30, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York to Max Fistel and Rose (Bromberg) Ulius who preceded him in death.

Steve is survived by his wife, Rebecca Fistel of 54 years; daughter, Maryn (Brett) Robinson; and grandchildren: Lylah and Oren Robinson.

Steve was also preceded in death by his son: Jason Fistel.

Steve was a member of Sinai Temple, Chairman of the Supper Club, was involved with the Spaghetti Bingo dinner, Treasurer of the Temple for a long time, a member of the Lions Club, and was the Chair with the annual Sinai Temple Golf Outing. Steve also assisted as a Credit Manager at the Jay Mar Ruby and was an avid golfer. His whole life was centered around his family. Steve was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was also a wonderful son and son-in-law and had many friends. His joy was his family and he will be sorely missed.

A funeral service for family and friends will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 11:00 am at Sinai Temple, 2800 Franklin Street, Michigan City, IN 46360 with Rabbi Reni Dickman and Rabbi Fred Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Sinai Temple Cemetery, Michigan City, IN.

So heartbroken to see the passing of Mr fistel he was a caring, giving, and generous man. He helped coach our little league baseball team and always had a patient attitude with a smile! I will truly miss seeing him around town for a quick Chat and a smile, great Father's/men like him are few and far between these days and he truly will be missed by all who met him!

We grieve with you in your loss.
